Reading to Little Boys – Books to Spark their Imagination

My boys ages 4 and 2, love to hear stories! They are getting old enough now to follow a longer story than most of the children’s books I buy for them – and as much as I like Curious George, I get tired of reading the same books. I started trying to read them longer books. Partly, to help them relax and fall asleep (I have them lay in their beds with the lights turned down low), and partly for selfish reasons. So, I thought I’d make a list of great books to read out loud to boys. I started with Gone Away Lake, and I was surprised at how many details they remember from day to day.
